Hi, I have just come across some family papers- I never knew my Grandfather he went down on the USS Cooper- I am trying to gather information about that ship, and or my grandfather Harrison O. Perkins, Lt. U.S.N.- he was also on the USS Beede but survived when it was sunk in Nov. 1943
