Chungchung-do : The neck of the Onggie is high and a little bit wide with a shaped-out  mouth. The bottom has a similar width, and the belly of Onggie is more round than that of Seoul and Kyunggi-do, which forms a shape crude, but solid.

Kangwon-do: The shape of Onggie is slow rounded, and the mouth is wider than that of the bottom with the belly part higher than that of Onggie itself.  So, Chunra-do Onggies look very fat!  The lid of Onggie has handles in both sides and is deep in the inside.  The people here often use a pot that they turned upside down and which looks like a form of Jabaegi called Soraegi.  The diameter of its mouth is wide and deep.

Chunra-do:The shape of Onggie is slow rounded, and the mouth is wider than that of the bottom with the belly part higher than that of Onggie itself.  So, Chunra-do Onggies look very fat!  The lid of Onggie has handles in both sides and is deep in the inside.  The people here often use a pot that they turned upside down and which looks like a form of Jabaegi called Soraegi.  The diameter of its mouth is wide and deep.

 Kyungsang-do:
In general, Kyungsang-do Onggie has a similar shape but has a narrow mouth.  There are two types, a sharp angled shoulder Onggie and overall round Onggie.  The Onggies in this region has more swollen in the shoulder than in the belly.  This is why Kyungsang-do Onggies look very majestic.

In conclusion, there used to be  regional characteristics in every shape of Onggies, but these days with rapid advancement in transportation and incessant comings and goings of people,  we can see Chunra-do Onggies in Chungchung-do, and Kyungsang-do Onggies in Chunra-do. It seems that the regional characteristics are diminishing rapidly
