Unfortunately, not. Many businesses are not convinced that this is a problem for them and that it will not affect themselves, especially the small businesses who think they are not computer reliant.
But businesses like painters, drywallers, or other people who work for larger companies, sometime forget that their check is coming from somebody who's entire system is NOT Y2K compliant. This can mean that they may not get a check, they may get too little, or in a best case scenario, they get too much!
Others don't even understand the problem itself and are not worried, and think that it is all just a hype that will pass. Others though, ARE prepared and are taking the Y2K problem seriously, these are the kind of businesses we need.
