Electricity has been around hundreds, perhaps thousands of years before man has ever even thought about it. Animals such as the electric eel have had these strange properties long before man discovered them. As king Solomon of Israel said: "There is nothing new under the sun." These animals prove it, they have known about it for a long time although they did not know what it was that they possessed that made them so unique and different from anything else. There are many animals who use electricity, such as the electric eel who lives in South America, the torpedo fish in the Atlantic coast and the Pacific coast and the electric catfish who lives in Africa, and those are just a few of over 500 creatures that use electricity. You have to admire those little guys because they do not have to cook there own food; it's already fried.
