Introduction
Asia's industry and economy had been rapidly developing since the start of the century. The rates of development increased drastically after many countries announced their independence.
Miracles in economies have been occuring within the past 30 years. It was virtually impossible for countries to progress at such a fast pace economically, though countries who had achieved this amazing feat are known as having shown an "Economic miracle".
At the same time, Asia has retained its traditional agricultural way of life. Many crops are grown in Asia, especially rice, the staple food of all Asians and therefore the main crop among all of them as well. Asia produces the world's largest amount of rice annually, with most of it coming from Indonesia and China. The farming system varies to suit different countries in Asia, or where demand for a particular good is highest.
Industries are pumping very hard, and Asian industries have now even surpassed their American counterparts. For example, Japan has overtaken the United States in many manufacturing sectors. Asia's industries are in a period of boom and therefore, bringing industries levels to a new high before the new century begins.
