The influence of colors on our behavior

The influence of colors on our behavior is studied by colorpsychologists. Colorpsychology is subdivided into two different departments:

1. Theoretical colorpsychology
2. Practical colorpsychology

The first department, theoretical colorpsychology, studies reactions of humans on colors. They have proved that every human has a certain "feeling for color"; red is the color of life, sexuality; orange is the color of fieriness, intimacy; yellow is the color of the spirit; white is the color of innocence and green is the color of rest.

The second department, practical colorpsychology, takes the view that everyone is influenced in their behavior by the color of their environment. from their point of view they have made some recommendations: red indicates danger and prohibition; green indicates safety; yellow indicates attention.
