Correction on paragraph about split brain
Mr. H. van Loggerenberg pointed out to us that "split brain" is not a disease, but the result of experimental surgical treatment for epileptics.The purpose of the treatment is to prevent a seizure starting in one hemisphere to cross over and trigger a massive discharge in the other hemisphere. All information about the effects of the split brain as described in chapter 4 remains valid.
