Dreams
Dreams are very mysterious. Dreams have a spontaneous, non-voluntary quality that distinguishes them from oredered rational thinking.Because of their spontanity we tend to think of dreams that they are trying to tell you something. That is why dream interpretation has a long history. The most influential of modern interpreters of dream was undoubtly Freud. He told that dreams were influenced by wishes. In dreams forbidden desires were acted out in diguised form.
Jung developed his own theory of dreams, although he is seen te be a neofreudian psychologist.
