Using Pressure
Pressure can be very useful in air, water and other liquids. We can use pressure to make water come out of our taps and to suck up dust with vacuum cleaners. Many machines, such as cars, diggers and aeroplanes, use pressure to operate many of their moving parts.
Air pressure can be quite useful too because they can be use by pneumatic machines. Pneutic machines use air to help them to move along. Air is being pumped into a container so that the air pressure inside the container is much higher than it is outside. This is called compressed air. Pipes are being used from the container to machines that use the compressed air.
