
This is the second closest planet to the sun and is also Earth's closest twin planet in the solar system. Venus is actually the brightest object after the sun and the moon. It looks like a bright star in the morning or late evening. The planet is slightly smaller than Earth. the surface on Venus has craters, volcanoes, mountains, large highland terrians and vast lava plains. Venus has very thick clouds that reflects very strong sunlight.
The atmosphere of Venus is hot and thick. If you had visited that place, you would not survive as the air could not be breathe and the temperature would burn you. Venus's atmosphere is mostly made up of carbon dioxide and the clouds were sulfuric acid. In fact, the atmosphere in Venus is 90 times heavier than Earth's atmosphere. The atmosphere is composed mainly of carbon dioxide (96%), 3.5% nitrogen, and less than 1% is made up of carbon monoxide, argon, sulfur dioxide, and water vapor.
