Uranus, the seventh planet in the solar system. Uranus is the first planet found by the telescope. The founding of Uranus led to the founding of Neptune. Uranus is mostly made up of methane ice. Heat generated in Uranus helps form the unusual winds in the atmosphere.
Uranus atmosphere is covered by clouds which the whole atmosphere is made up of methane. The planet appears to be blue-green because the methane gas in the atmosphere traps the red light and does not allow it to escape. Besides, the clouds of methane crystals is high in the atmosphere. The clouds are constantly recycling themselves by creating new cystals and destorying the old and heaviest ones. Uranus lies on the side, it has many strange seasons, just like Jupiter and Saturn. The basic weather of Uranus can describe as a striped pattern the winds. Even though the pattern is hard to see, it is just like Jupiter and Saturn.
Uranus has many interesting moons and a different type of ring system from Jupiter and Saturn. It is a partial ring. Manyt of the moons are icy moons where there is no atmosphere to surpport life form. The small moons are Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Portia, Rosalind, Belinda, and Puck. The icy moons are Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, Oberon, Caliban, and Sycorax.
