Thre are many strange and unteresting things in space. So strange that science fiction cannot even imagine. Such as stars. When they die, they throw away their outer layers, leaving behind a white dwarf. When a massive stars die, there is often a huge explosion called a supernova and a neutron star or a black hole may form.
There are even more interesting things such as the Quasars. They may look like stars but they are much brighter and further away from our galaxy.
