Neptune, the eighth planet from the sun. Neptune is very much like Uranus, which also is made up of methane ice. Heat which is generated in the planet helps to form unusual winds in the atmosphere.
Neptune atmosphere shows a pattern of clouds. It is just similar to that of Jupiter and Saturn. Neptune also has a great dark spot just like Jupiter great red spot. Neptune clouds are mostly made of methane. The motion of the clouds tells us about Neptune's weather, which is just like Jupiter and Saturn.
Neptune has several moons and a completely different ring system from Saturn. One of the major moon called Triton. It has active geysers just like the one in Yellowstone Park. And a water environment just like the North Pole where life may exist. This icy moon has a thin layer of atmosphere. The other moons are 1989N1, 1989N2, 1989N3, 1989N4, 1989N5, 1989N6, and Nereid. They are group together as the small moons.
