Very cool site... I just stumbled across it and ended up
spending nearly 2 hours looking at everything. I wish sites like
this where available for more countries, it would be intresting to
learn about the rest of the world's cultures and day to day
routines. Great job!

going out with collegues to a cafeteria or they eat at the work.
there are some things that aren't right at all... please check it
out and change it. and add some pics about the greates places

your site is really great!!!!!!! but unfortunately full of
prejudice against German trditions.(a generalization). But it`s OK.
I am a Rotary exchange student and will go to Australia for one
year (I`ll fly on the 25 July 2002...... in 4 days.) But I think I
can use some informations for the speech I have to prepare about
Germany. Especially I like your article about Mardi Gras!!!!! Bye,
bye yours yara

I like your site. I'm like 60% german, and I felt like I knew
nothing about my heritage. Now I know a lot more then I did. I'm
still looking for more...but thanks. oh, and if anyone's reading
this and they know people in Germany with the name: Hellein or
Helloin, please have them contact me....I'm trying to locate some
family and learn about my families past. Thank you.

Your site is a nice approach to give other people a small
image of what Germany can be like. I like the design and the way
you present your information very much. But for a site, that claims
to to show an exploration of the culture, you offer only a very
limited amount of information (with some aspects that are only true
for certain regions in Germany). There is also a mistake in your
quiz which spoiled my score. ;) I don't know if you are still
maintaining this site, but if you do and you want more information
or just another opinion on facts you discovered, feel free to
contact me via Email. Wind in your fur and stars in your eyes.

Thank you so much for this site. My 11 year old son needed
information for a nations notebook he is doing for school. I found
a great deal of information about Germany (his nation of choice) on
your site. I am greatful to you for your work and keep it up. You

Good site. Needed information to put together a multicultural
festival where my kids are doing Germany. It gave a lot of
information. Would like to see more on activities that kids could
do. As I lived in Germany for two years, and family is from
Friesberg in Baden-Werdemberg I found the site to be very
comprehensive as to the customs and traditions of the German
people. Keep working to improve.

This is a great sight. I had to do a project for school, and
this sight helped me a lot. I was able to find tons of information
on traditions and daily life. My mother is form Germany, and a lot
of the things on the sight remind me of things I've seen when we
visit my grandparents in Germany. Keep up the good work!

this site is even for me very interesting though I am from
Germany cause i see how people from other countries see Germany.
It´s really very good. I´ve just never heard of that
tradition to throw an egg over the house on New Year, but perhaps
people in other parts in Germany do that. i don´t
know.
