Ebola is a deadly strain of virus, originating in Africa. The Ebola virus is highly contagious, with no vaccine or cure. It is said that one strain has the killing capabilities of the Black Plague of the Middle Ages. Here we present information about this virus, and the known outbreaks of the Ebola strains.

Ebola is a BioSafety Level 4, the highest level, due to its highly pathogenic nature (AIDS/HIV is a BioSafety Level 2). It has a mortality rate that ranges from approximately 53-88%. The constraint of the scientific research about this virus, has resulted in information gaps. However, there is much misinformation about it in the media. Here are the facts:
