Forming an Interdisciplinary Teaching Team

Environmental issues are interdisciplinary by their very nature. Issues involve scientific principles, government legislation and regulation, community relations, technology, city planning, etc. So there are many aspects to investigate. There are also many stakeholders involved in the outcome.

So environmental studies lend themselves easily to interdisciplinary studies. You will need to cross those discipline barriers and recruit teachers and students for other subjects to include the Environmental topic into their lessons. these teachers will also be willing to help with the planning of the project.

In the Camden Radiation Investigation there were seven classes and their teachers. Each teacher was responsible for one Investigative Team.
