Does El Niņo harm me?

El Niņo is a world phenomenon that involves everybody, even the animals that live in the bottom of the sea. It is a serious problem that can develop into a catastrophe for humankind.

How do hurricanes move?

Hurricanes move counter clockwise in the North and clockwise in the South.

Do the trees make oxygen by taking CO2 out of the air?

Plants make oxygen by braking apart a molecule of water when making their food.

What happens if the temperature keeps rising?

If the temperature keeps rising, there is a big chance that the poles will melt. If this happens, the seas would rise approximately 60 meters. It would flood cities like New York.

Is our supply of potable water running out?

If we keep polluting the environment at our current level, it will go quickly but 75% of all potable water is stored in glaciers.

What happens with the forests?

Naturally environments change with time. For example, the Sahara Desert was a forest thousands of years ago. Man is changing the environment too quick for animals to adapt. Thousands of acres of forest are lost each day along with hundreds of species.
