Mr. Peter Saunders (Coach)
National Junior College, Singapore.

Being an English teacher in college, he helped the team in checking the text and editing it to remove any unwanted errors. Apart from this, he gave invaluable suggestions about the design and layout of the site. The 'Reference' section was his brainchild too. But most importantly, he always motivated us all along, asking us about the progress from time to time and offering his help in any way possible. Thank you coach!

Farhan Ahmed (Team Leader)
National Junior College, Singapore.

He was the one who did most of the site designing part. He helped in writing the 'Life History' section too. The scripts and java applets that you find on the site are all his hard work. A rather merry person, he never compromised the site for any other work and stayed up late on many occasions to complete this project. He set the deadlines and motivated the team all along too. Way to go Farhan!

Kumar Gaurav (Team Member)
National Junior College, Singapore.

Our philosopher and guide, Kumar, helped us deciding the content of the site and also gave priceless suggestions on improving the overall quality of the site. He has a special liking to literature and philosophy and he is the one who did the 'Influences' section all by himself! He also helped in creating some graphics for the site and also assisted in website design.
Thank you Kumar, we could have never done it without you!

Kartik Mudaliar (Team Member)
St. Francis' College, Lucknow (India).

Being the only team-member residing outside Singapore, he helped in the creation of this site in more ways than one. Being in India, he helped us a lot in getting relevant text about Mahatma Gandhi. In fact, all other text (except 'Life History' and 'Influences') were done by him! He contributed a lot in deciding the layout of the site. Sacrificing even his examinations, he worked day and night for the betterment of the site. Communication was never a problem between us as he promptly replied to all email and ICQ messages. We are proud to have you as a team-member Kartik!

Something about the site :

You may be wondering why we have kept the site so simple. Use of heavy graphics, java enhanced buttons and other such stuff has been deliberately restricted. The reason for all this is because we want to portray simplicity. Simplicity was the way of life for Mahatma Gandhi who wore Khadi clothes and never went for other luxuries of life. Quite similar is the case for our site too. The message we want to convey all lies within the text. The background of the site was chosen because it reminds us of the soil. In India, the soil is regarded as the nation's mother. And so, as a symbol of respect, we chose so too. Hope you like your visit to our site. Please give us feedback on how we can improve via the feedback form.
