The Rook Often called the stronghold of the battlefield, the Rook is the power of the corners. Rooks are often one of the last pieces to move due to their position. It is very common for a King to castle with the Rook on the King side. The castling allows for the two Rooks to join powers later in the match. As a Rook, your mission is to protect the King and be strong in end games. Seek knowledge, young apprentice!
