The Knight Riding valiantly into the battlefield, Knights play an important role in development. Often the second or third piece to move, Knights are normally in the thick of the action. A Knight's favorite spot on the board is right in the middle where he can attack the most spaces. A Knight's main role is to fork pieces (attacking multiple pieces at one time) while still backing his army up. As a Knight, your mission is to defend your pieces while maintaining forks with a centralized position. Seek knowledge, young apprentice!
