Oral or sublinguale Steroidpraeparate:

These preparations are in such a way conceived that the protection of the Steroidmolekuels from gastric acid and reduction processes in the liver is to a large extent guaranteed (see fig.). Nevertheless: oral Steroide is taken usually three to four times per day, since their radioactive half-life is very short in the blood.
