Sanctions
The sanctions are quite different in the individual federations. With olympic plays on suggestion of the medical commission of the IOC the sanction is expressed by the responsible international professional association. It (the sanction) is called exclusion the sportsman concerned by the olympic plays for. If it belongs to a crew, the play applies or the questionable competition as lost. Medals and placing are denied. Thus also with other meetings in the case of positive findings will proceed. For the standardization of the sanctions the IOC suggests 1987 the following barriers:
with intentional Doping (with anabolen Steroiden, Amphetaminen, koffein, anaesthetics and designer drugs) 3 years with the first offence, lifelong with the second offence.
with unintentional use (Ephedrin, Codein) 3 months with the first offence, 2 years with the second offence, lifelong with the third offence.
