Why one dopes?
The hunt for records claims an almost impossible increase in output from the human body. In order to achieve this increase in output, physiological possibilities are not only to the sportsman at the disposal. A further, not-physiological possibility is the Doping. This method is forbidden and on ignoring the prohibition is punished during matches and with training. It is the attempt to optimize the efficiency with application of different substances. This application effected usually forwards or during a match, lately in addition, increases in training.
Over the Doping to work against there are active substance lists (so-called Doping list) the forbidden active substances and in particular also some Dopingmittel contained. These lists are 1972 to the XX. Olympiad prepared in Munich for the first time. They are relevant both for Dopingkontrollen and for the sportsmen and are to protect also against inconsiderate use of medicines, since these sometimes forbidden active substances contain.
