A quarter

A long story to occupy the audience

 

Procedure

1.) Roll up your sleeves, and pick up the quarter with your right hand.

2.) Show the audience that you do have a solid quarter in your right hand, and pass it from your right hand to your left hand.

3.) Start rubbing the quarter into your your arm, and start start telling your story. Keep talking to throughout the entire trick.

4.) After one or two rubs, you should accidentally make the coin slip. Do not stop talking.

5.) Take your hand off of your chin, and pick up the quarter. You need to know how to do the French Drop to complete this trick.

6.) Now, very secretly, put the coin down your shirt. Keep talking!

7.) Rub for about another minute, and then look down at the empty hand, but don't let the audience know that the hand is empty. After a while, start frowning, and pretend something went wrong.

8.) Cut eye contact with your audience and look at your hand. Rub harder, then sigh with relief and give them a big smile. Slow down your rubbing, and slowly lift your hand. Voila! No quarter!
