The Flip Flop Force

Materials:

A deck of cards

 

Procedure:

1.) Make sure that the card you want your assistant to pick is on top of the deck (say, the ace of spades).

2.) Ask your assistant to cut the deck, less then halfway, turn it over, and place it back on top of the deck. (Now there should be some cards face up)

3.) Ask your assistant to cut the deck again, only deeper. Make sure he cuts deeper!

4.) Now, take all of the cards that are face up, and set them aside.

5.) Ask your assistant to pick up the first card that is face down, and it will be the ace of spades.
