The hardest part of teaching an LNN class, is grading the students on their work. The grading is not the same as all the other classes though. The students who take the course do not have tests or quizes. The teacher has to come up with creative projects for the students to complete.

The following projects, are projects that the kids have to complete:

Audio Commercial

Documentary

Interview Project

The basic project is a one-minute interview with anyone who comes to this school on a daily basis. The video will consist of a two-shot/bust-shot, and the audio will be the actual interview.

Audio Commercial Project

The finished project will be a 30 to 45 second commercial about a product or service. The audio portion will consist of an announcer reading a script, and appropriate background music. The video will consist of graphics including the announcer's name, class period, date, name of the audio technician, and the name of the client (product or service company.)

Documentary

The finished project will be a 3 minute documentary on a topic of interest. It MAY include an interview. The documentary must contain voice and music audio dub. Titles will be at the beginning, featuring the name of the program and the name of the producers. The last shot will fade to black.
