The LNN students have lots of equpiment that they can choose to use everyday. Some of the equipment is used everyday while other is used maybe only once a month.

There are cameras that the students can use to tape events around the school, or even to check out on the weekends. They are state of the art cameras in the studio for filming of the show (shown above and below) and every student in the class has an opportunity to use them.
There are also many extra things that the students can experiment with such as microphones, headphones and tripods. There is plently of this equipment available in class.
Televisions are located
all over the studio. Some are used to preview tapes, to see what
needs to be editted, while others are used during the actual taping
of the show. VCR's come with all these televisions in the studio
also.
There is one main computer in the studio and that is used to make all the graphics for the show, including the birthdays and the lunch menu. One person is chosen to operate and be in charge of the computer.
The editing machine is probably the most important piece of equipment. It is the hardest to learn how to use. There are two editing machines in the studio and they are both used constantly.
Other important equipment that is used during the taping of the show, is the switcher and the sound board. These things are also kept up by two students. The sound board and the person operating it are responsible for all the music and sound during the show. As for the switcher, it can be a very frustrating job, but is very needed for the production of a show. It is very frustrating because you need to have split second timing so that you don't tape the person sitting and waiting rather then the one delivering the announcements. The switcher is used to switch the shots from Camera 1to Camera 2.d m
