Impact on the Young
During the CR, a lot of students couldn't study. Even after the activity as Red Guards was over, many students were sent to the countryside to do manual labor. They wasted their time as they did not return again. And China itself ruined the precious young talent. In this sense, the CR still influences today's China.

Impact on Japan
Not only China but also other countries were influenced by the CR. Among the academic community, students were divided over the recognition of the CR. And in Japan, some groups of student activities were highly influenced by the CR, that is "Maoism".

Impact on Economy
Despite much effort of the part of the workers, the CR's impact on the economy was inevitable. The Gang of Four, especially Jiang Qing considered anything as "Capitalism", so the Chinese economy didn't work well.
