Background

China and Soviet
China had been helped by Soviet before the establishment of PRC, and had planed to
construct its country, following the way of Soviet. But after the Stalin died, the
relations between two countries got to deteriorate, and China began to be isolated. Mao
proceeded excessive policy for socialism, reacting againt Soviet. And it led to the CR.
Cold War
Even after the end of World War II, peace didn't come to the world, for the world was
devided into Socialism and Capitalism. Each proceeded own policy, reacting against each
other. China, of course, had a position of Socialism. And the policy was greatly
influenced by the atomosphere of the world.
Cult of Mao
During the CR, the order of Mao was absolute. And noone could object to Mao. Besides,
Chinese worshiped Mao as the hero of the past revolution. However, the enthusiastic cult
was used the force for the CR, and that affected the people themselves.
Maoism
Mao's thought is called "Maoism". It was the basic thought of the CR. The people
and officers had been constructed China, following the Maoism. However, the thought was so
impractical that it made China confuced.
Red Guards
Red Guards is the groud of students, and had been used as the force for the CR by Mao and
Jiang. They murdered, and destroied "old four". Although the crime they
committed was beyond description, they were victims, for they lost their precious time
during the CR.
