LOCATION & GEOGRAPHY: Pakistan is located in South Asia. India to the east, Afghanistan and Iran to the west, China to the north and the Arabian Sea to the south.

PEOPLE: The largest group of the population are the Punjabis who account for half of the population. The rest of the population include the Sindhi, Pushtuns, Baluchis, Makranis, Mujahirs, Khos and Kafirs.

LANGUAGES: The official language is Urdu. Many languages are more widely spoken with Punjabi spoken by most of the population.
