LOCATION & GEOGRAPHY: Bangladesh is country located between the Himalayas and the Indian Ocean. India surrounds it to the north, east and west, Myanmar to the southeast and by the Bay of Bengal to the south.

PEOPLE: The population is made up of Bengalis. The rest are Biharis. The tribes that are the rest of the population are the Chakmas, Marmas, Tipperas and the Moros.

LANGUAGES: The official language is Bengali with English used for commerical purposes.
