Krisztina Holly
Visual Voice(TM) telephony software

Krisztina Holly is an inventor who graduated from MIT.

Her co-inventions in computer telephony were sold for millions of dollars and helped finance other projects.

Holly was introduced to science at an early age. She went with her father to his place of work. She helped develop the world's first computer-generated, full-color reflection hologram.

In Mechanical Engineering at MIT , Holly concentrated on computer telephony software, winning MIT's $10K (now $50K) Entrepreneural Competition along the way . With Michael Cassidy and John Barrus, Holly invented and patented "The Stylus" (1992), software which operated basically as a consumer's personal interpreter and mediator in the languages of bar code and touch tone.

Holly and her partners founded a company, Stylus. The product that came out of this Visual Voice, co-invented by Holly, Cassidy, and Chris Brookins and was very successful.

Visual Voice was a tool with call answering, voice-mail, and even call placing and fax transmission. This invention helped many small and emerging companies have access to the latest technology at a reasonable price.
