AMD K6-2 or K6-3 at least 400MHz-450MHZ

Step 1
NOTE: Don't try this unless you are confidant in your ability to perform this procedure. 
Make sure that your computer is off. Then remove your computer's case (Cover?).
Lift lever on the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) Socket. (See image)
Step 2
Look at the CPU. One corner should be cut off. This corner indicates pin one. Now look at the main boards ZIF Socket. It should have a dot or a cut off angle on one corner. These corners must match up. Insert your CPU  into the ZIF Socket. Take care to make sure that it is inserted correctly. Once the CPU is in place move the lever to its original position 
(down).
NOTE:  Consult the mainboard's manual for jumper settings for your mainboard and CPU.  There are WAY too many combinations for mainboard-CPU settings for us to list them here. If you cannot find or do not own a manual, search for the information on the internet.
Step 3
Replace your computer's case (Cover?) and attach any removed cables.
And you're done with the basic hardware installation.
