Quadratic Equation :

 

A quadratic equation is any equation that can be written in the form ax2 + bx + c = 0, a 0.

The simplest way to solve a quadratic equation is to use the quadratic formula.

         

Quadratic Formula :

The Quadratic Formula is a method of solving quadratic equations.

This is an example of the Quadratic Formula.

To solve for x we simply plug in a, b, and c from the quadratic equation.

Then we simplify.
After we further simplify the equation, we use the + for find one value for x and the - for the other value.
 We end up with -1 and -2 as the values for x.
