Circumference of a Circle:

The circumference of a circle is the perimeter of the circle.  This is the measurement of the total distance around the circle.
The most essential part to finding the circumference of a circle (next to the circle itself) is the radius.  This is the distance from the center to any point on the circle itself.
Another essential part to finding the circumference of a circle is the value of pi.  Pi is the value of the circumference divided by the radius doubled.  This value is 3.141592654
These elements are put into a formula where 2 times the radius times pi equals the circumference.
Example:  Let the radius equal 5 centimeters.  We take this value and multiply it by 2 and pi.  This gives us 10 pi centimeters.
