: When does Richard say 'Smile and murder while I smile' I can't find it, HELP

I am trying to find the same thing -- I have seen it in the 1955 Olivier version but I don't know that it's in the text.

It sounds too familiar, though, and I am positive it is in shakespeare somewhere. Possibly Hamlet? I have downloaded the text of both the folio and quarto texts from the internet shakespeare site but have not found the line using a global search. PErhaps murder is spelled "murther"?

I know this is an old follow up to your question, but if you have found an answer I'd love to hear it.

Best,
Brendan
