Tourist Attractions

Floating Market:
20 minutes by klotok taxi (river bus). It is in Barito river. This markets has stared since 400 years ago. The activities start daily from 5-9 am.

Flower and Kaget Islands:
Both islands are in Barito river. Flower Island has a conservation forest about 60 hectares, inhabited by Bekantan (nasali lavartus ) only.

Cempaka:
A small village 45 minutes from Banjarmasin. It is an old site of traditional diamond digging using very simple equipments.

Martapura:
40 km from Banjarmasin, it is the centre of diamond and precious stone polishing which makes it the centre of diamond marketing.

Tasikung Beach:
10 km west of Palaihari. Folk entertainment and hotels are available

River Rafting:
The river trip starts at Loksado 45 km from Kandangan and it ends at Batu Laki.
