The Ant Hill

My cousin Ashley is terrified of ants. On Friday the 23rd of
June 1987, we were playing in her back yard.

I remember it vaguely, I was scaring Ashley with this mask I
was wearing. It had bulging eyes, scars, and ooze coming out
of its eyes. We continued to play until we got thirsty. We
went inside and got some lemonade which was very bitter.
While I was sipping my drink, Ashley told me a real funny joke.
I started to laugh so hard that I spit my drink out and it
ended up all over Ashley. We went outside and her dog, Muffin,
came and started licking her. She started to cry because she
was sticky all over. So, I told her to go rinse off with the
hose. She began walking over to the hose. Boom! Ashley came
crashing down. Seh ahd fallen over a tree stump.

I said, "What are those red spots on you? Oh my gosh, they're
ants!"

We started screaming and running into the house. Her scared
mom came running down the stairs saying, "What's wrong?" She
thought something dreadful had happened.

Ashley started saying, "Ants! Ants are all over!"

My Aunt had no clue what Ashley was talking about so I said,
"She has ants all over her."

We rushed her outside and sprayed her off with the hose. My
Aunt got all the ants off Ashley, but Ashley ahd red marks all
over her.

I said, "Oh my gosh, those are ant bites!"

My aunt rushed Ashley to the hospital and got some medicine for
her skin. Now Ashley is better, but terrified of ants.
