Chocolate Horrors

Adventure
Whoever heard of a striped cat named Spot? Not me. Or somebody who didn't like chocolate? Well I am sure there are some of those people I really don't see how anybody could hate chocolate.
I was living a very happy when our nice neighbors the Trevals moved out, I was really hoping that someone my age would move in. I was overjoyed when my mom told me that there was going to be a family moving in who had two kids ages six and twelve. It would be have been perfect. My little brother Jeff who is seven could occupy the six year old. Then the older one who was my age, could become good friends with me! Boy I wish it had turned out that way.
When the new neighbors moved in I brought my already prepared batch of chocolate chip cookies. I hoped that they would like them because chocalate chip cookies are the best kind of food in my opinion. When I rang the door bell and waited for someone to come to the door I was positive that they were going to like the the cookies. A girl that looked my age awnsered the door. I figured it was the one my mother was telling me about. Before I could say anything though a orange stiped cat jumped out the door closely followed by a calico colored one that had big blobs of orange, white, and black. The girl called out suddenly "Stripes! Spot! Come back here!". Then remerbering that I was at the door, she introduced her self as Lucinda Anne Gray. I said_____o and introduced myself. "Hi! My name is Caitlin Wood! I live next door and I thought that I would bring these cookies for your family as a kind of introduction. Hope you like chocolate chip!" I said. A slight grimace crossed her face and I pondered what might have made her frown. "Those were pretty cats you have. Stipes was the orange striped one and and Spot was the calico right?" I said. "No, you have got it backwards," she smiled somewhat apolageticly,"Stripes is the calico and Spot is the orange stiped one." Lucinda replied. "Oh. Thats kinda weird don't you think?" I said. She looked at me with a stare that I will never forget and said "No. Not at all. Do you?" she finished with an insinsere smile. "No, I guess not. Not at all." The words came out of my mouth, but I did not make them. "So, do you want to come out and play? We can go down to the lake or go for a walk or just play tag or something. I know that is kinda boring, but there is nothing else to do. Unless you have something to suggest," I finished. "Of course I do," Lucinda said almost offended,"Come inside. We can go up to my room." Quickly I replied, "Can't. I have to be back home in a few minutes. How about tomorow?". "I can't," said Lucinda,"I have Crafts and then A. I. R. Maybe the next day. See you around!"
Then she shut the door in my face. I was really mad. She did not even take the cookies. I turned around when I heard a meaw. Then I saw the orange stiped cat. "Hi Spot. Why did your owners name you that. Are they some kinda witches or something?" The cat looked at me long and hard. I stared back at him. "What? What do you want from me?" I picked up my cookies and started for home. Spot followed me. He turned and meowed loudly and then Stipes came too. "What is this? Go away!" The cats followed quicker and I started running. Faster and faster I ran, with them close on my heels. I stopped and pivoted letting go of the cookies completely and tryed to dogde the cats.
Finally I stopped and faced Spot and Stripes. What was before me surprised me and frightened me. There standing in place of the cats were two kids, a girl and a boy. That was what first struck me. The next was that the girl was Lucinda. The other one had to be her brother. I couldn't speak. "Don't like chocolate, don't like chocolate," they started chanting. Then finding my voice I said meekly, "I do." Their eyes turned to a burning red color and they closed upon me chanting. Then with a flick of their wrists, and a flash of light, I was gone. Hurling into darkness, who knows what direction. When I finally landed and my eyes ajusted to the strage light I realized that everything around me was chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Dark, Milk, White, and every other kind of chocolate you can imagine!
I heard Lucinda's voice then,"We were once chocolate fairies in this wonderful land of chocalate. Never did we like what grew here best though. We decided to take revenge on the all mighty chocolate King and used our fairy magic to destroy him. We now are the rulers of this land and we bring chocalate lovers here so that they may too hate chocalate. There is no other food here and you must live on chocolate and only chocolate. You will find others, but only will you find chocalate to eat! ONLY CHOCOLATE (horrible loud cackle)! May you suffer forever!"
I screamed then as loud as I could at the fairies. Maddened my own anger and helplessness I grabbed chunks of some nearby chocolate and hurled at the fairies. Still laughing they dogded and went away. That was the last I ever saw of them. Ever. The only thing that I see now is chocolate.
Have a nice chocolaty day!
