Bill climbed the cliff, hardly

able to glance behind him.
Twelve days in the forest - twelve days! Why did this have
to happen now? He_____ed in his breath, forcing himself
upward. He had to keep going no matter what.
He knew not to look down because he was scared of hights.
In fact he was only doing this because of a dare he exceped from his hotshot mountain climber
buddy named joe.
