Base-Motif Fractals

This applet will allow you to explore some properties of fractals on the examples of several base-motif fractals. First of all, the applet will allow you to change the number of iterations for every motif that you can choose from the bottom. Notice how the fractals become more detailed when you increase this number. You will also be allowed to zoom in and out of the fractal. Notice how the picture stays the same when you zoom in. This shows one of the fundamental properties of fractals — self-similarity.
