Henon Map
The Henon Map is one of the most famous 2-dimensional strange attractors. It is an example of a quadratic strange attractor, since the highest power in its formulas is 2. The general Henon map can be defined by the formulas
new x = 1 + y – ax2
new y = bx
Usually, the values used for a and b are 1.4 and 0.3 respectively. These values give the following picture:

Although it might not seem so right away, this figure is a fractal since magnifying it does not decrease the amount of detail:
