The ancient Egyptians cut stones near their
pyramids in order to put inside their
ships made of wood in order to be used by the
king when he traveled by day or at night with the god of the sun Raa to the other world.
When we carried out the project of clearing out around the great
pyramid we found two spots for two ships, in the south of the great pyramid in 1954. This
pyramid has five ships, three in the eastern bank, and the rest in the south– north
of the great pyramid. The size of the southern spot is 51,5m of the wide of
7m and the depth is
8m. This spot contained a huge ship made of wood in a good condition with ropes and other
tools. The size of this ship is about 43,5m. The height is 5m the backside of this ship is
7m. This ship is exhibited in a private museum south of the great pyramid.
