* The age of the founders of the pyramids:
The name of (The age of the ancient state) is called over the period (2280 – 2780 A.C) and this because of the huge number of pyramids which were established in this era from El-faeoom in the south till Giza in the north. The city of Manaf was the capital of the old state. This
state witnessed the
dynasty from the third dynasty to the sixth. The state witness a period of
stability and peace during the period of building, as well as it also witness a great
trend of establishing many cities and this was due to the plenty of the natural resources
which were available in Egypt, as well as the Egyptian mastery of the art of building and
architecture.
The history of the fourth dynasty is still a mystery though
we discovered much 
about its kings and their deeds which were famous all over the world, until
some digs have been carried out in the pyramids area to give the discovery of the tomb of
queen Hoetb who married king Sanfor and they gave birth to king Khofo the second king of
this dynasty.
The well–known kings of this dynasty are king Zoysar and king Sanforo the founder of the fourth dynasty as well as king Khofo, king Khofo, king Mankaraa and king Beby with whose rule we came to the end of the ancient state.
