The pharonic history of Egypt is a long history which is full of wonders especially, the age of pyramids builders (the 4^th family in the old state), no work have ever attracted the attention of humanity as the great pyramid at Giza. It is the heaviest, biggest and oldest building man has established. It is the most accurate and complete building and it is considered one of the seven wonders of the World, it is the only one that exists till now.

   Although we have got a lot of modern technology devices nowadays in the twentieth century, we cannot cut stones as accurately as the ancient Egyptians did, man can’t build a new pyramid as accurate as the great pyramid.

*What is the meaning of the word “pyramid”?

  The word is composed two syllables: pyra and amid. Thus meaning of the word is “in the middle of fire”. We know that fire is one of the elements of the universe, the Earth, Fire, Water and Air. According to their beliefs, fire was the main source of energy. Thus the meaning of “ pyramids ” is the center of energy.
