The pharoahs recorded their ideas
by means of picture. This way of writing
was called Hieroglyphs. It was used for
writing on the walls of temples, stone boards and wood. It was written from top to bottom
or vice versa and from right to left or vice versa. Hieroglyphs was used for recording
texts and was known as the holy writing.
