"Computers can create virtualities.
While the issue of virtualities (as opposed to realities) is
nothing new in art, perhaps the advent of computer technology has
given this issue a greater urgency. Users need no longer be
dependent on primary sense perceptions, in fact the opposite may be
true, secondary sense perceptions being easier to process. My
recent work attempts to question our level of engagement with life
as we strain to hear the distant echoes of reality."
