The faster you CD ROM reader, the better it performs. High -speed data transfer give you smother motion video and response from..Future year for CD ROM will see a constant evolution of changes, based sometimes on the introduction and use of new products such as (DVI), often on the ingenuity of those developing software and increasingly because end users will constantly voice a desire for new feature and capabilities having purchased. This movement will be steady, uphill, and unending.
CD ROM is the next
of a long series of planned optical configurations data manipulation, storage
and delivery. As the second format of this series, the CD ROM will serve
for years to come as optimal means of storing delivering massive massive
text and multimedia applications. From this point forward, the theme of
the CD ROM industry is still one of growth, exponential growth, accompanied
by maturing infrastructure. Although CD ROM technology is now established,
widespread number of applications in vertical markets are forthcoming.
Economically, southeast
Asia is now the faster growing region in the world. It need new and high-capacity
information network to support major development projects and changing
lifestyles. Os the CD ROM industry is still making it faster and big cause
country like those in southeast needs faster and big CD of less paper work
and faster reading. As we know that the faster CD ROM reader, the better
it performs high-speed data transfer gives you motion video and faster
response from databases.
The next generation
of CD-ROMs are called "DVD-ROM," and contains up to 4.7GB of storage on
a single layer and on a single side. The capacity can be increased to more
than 17GB by making the discs double sided and double-layered, which means
the laser now reads through two substrate levels, and thus the CD contains
double the information in the same vertical space. This is the new standard
called DVD, agreed upon by CD manufacturers. DVDs will be able to store
entire full-length movies on the space of a regularly-sized disc. Beyond
that, double-layered, double-sided discs are waiting on the horizon, which
will be able to store 26 times the amount of data of a conventional CD-ROM
disc -- up to 17GB.
