7.Arabian oryx:  The Arabian oryx has been saved from extinction by zoos.  After they died out in their natural habitat zoo-bred Arabian oryx were re-established in the Arabian deserts.  The information board explains how their white colouring serves these animals in their natural habitat.

8.  Antelope from Africa:  Africa is home to more than 70 species of antelope.  Here kudu, eland, lechwe, mountain reedbuck, common duiker, and impala share an enclosure with a variety of indigenous birds such as the ostrich and secretary bird.

9.  Nyala and blue crane:  The nyala reminds one of the kudu, but it is a much smaller animal and its horns is not twisted.  This enclosure also houses the blue crane. Despite its status as national bird of South Africa, it is an endangered species.
