1.  Wild dogs:  Wild dogs are very effective hunters.  They hunt in parties of 10 to 15 animals and can reach speeds of up to 50km/h while chasing their prey.

2. PPC  Sundail:  The PPC Sundail was erected in 1992 to commemorate the centenary of Pretoria Portland Cement.  From here you have a imposing view of the Pretoria cityscape set off against the open reaches of the Zoo grounds.

3.  Red river hog:  The red river hog is a type of bushpig from the Western and Central Africa.  The specie is the most colourful of all pigs.  When they are young,  they even have light stripes running lengthwise over their bodies.
